Basketball Game Preview: Dora Coyotes vs. Lake Arthur Panthers

Dora is on a five-game streak of home losses, Lake Arthur a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Dora Coyotes will welcome the Lake Arthur Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Lake Arthur took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dora, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Dora turned things around against Elida on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 48-36.

Lake Arthur played against Floyd and lost via forfeit.

Lake Arthur's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Dora, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-11.

Dora came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Arthur in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Will Dora repeat their success, or does Lake Arthur have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
