Baseball Game Preview: Field Falcons vs. GlenOak Golden Eagles

The Field Falcons will take on the GlenOak Golden Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Field's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so GlenOak's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Field is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Norton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 9-8.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask GlenOak). They came out on top against Jackson by a score of 11-6 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Golden Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Field's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for GlenOak, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-3.
