Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apollo). They put the hurt on Graves County with a sharp 16-3 win on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Apollo considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Apollo's victory bumped their record up to 9-12-1. As for Graves County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-13 record.

Apollo will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Franklin-Simpson at 4:00 p.m. As for Graves County, they will be playing at home against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Marshals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
