Volleyball Game Preview: Centennial Eagles vs. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs

Centennial is a perfect 4-0 against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Mustangs at 6:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Centennial is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Crater just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets.

Meanwhile, Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts came up short against Wilsonville on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Centennial was able to grind out a solid victory over Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts when the teams last played back in October of 2023, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
