Basketball Recap: All Saints Episcopal Trojans vs. Brook Hill Guard
The All Saints Episcopal Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They fell to Brook Hill 37-31. All Saints Episcopal has not had much luck with the Guard recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
All Saints Episcopal's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sachit Basoor, who scored five points along with two steals.
All Saints Episcopal has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season. As for Brook Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
All Saints Episcopal will be playing at home against the Vikings at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vanguard College Prep has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30. As for Brook Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dallas Christian and the Guard are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
