Athens Bible lost against Shoals Christian back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Athens Bible Trojans fell 53-46 to the Shoals Christian Flame. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sarah Davis (2025) continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Shoals Christian, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 20 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Davis (2025) has scored at least a third of Shoals Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Owen, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Athens Bible's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-6. As for Shoals Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

Athens Bible will challenge Cherokee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shoals Christian, they will face off against Sheffield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
