Columbus entered their tilt with Glenwood on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Gators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Columbus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Keira Parsons paced Columbus' offense, picking up 11 kills. Parsons got some help from Emma Cicora and her 29 assists.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 24-18. As for Glenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-16.

Columbus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lee-Scott Academy on the 27th. As for Glenwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Calvary Christian on the 27th.
