Baseball Recap: North Sanpete Comes Up Short

North Sanpete was the 6-2 winner over Richfield when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-5 on Friday.

Maddex Bailey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tyson Guidos, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

North Sanpete now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Richfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Looking ahead, North Sanpete will face off against Emery at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richfield, they will take on Juab at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wasps will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
