Volleyball Game Preview: Hanson Beavers vs. Freeman Flyers + How To Watch

Hanson is 2-8 against Freeman since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Beavers will take on the Flyers at 7:15 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Freeman will be up against a hot Hanson team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Beavers blew past Scotland 3-0 on Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hanson took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-10.

Freeman not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Viborg/Hurley. The win continues a trend for the Flyers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

Freeman never let Viborg/Hurley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-22.

Hanson's victory bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Freeman, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Hanson took their victory against Freeman in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beavers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
