Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northwestern walked away with it. They blew past the South Miami Cobras, posting a 100-32 win. The Bulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Northwestern found their leader in sophomore Zacuras Dawson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. The dominant performance gave Dawson a new career-high in assists. Jamiro Smith was another key player, going 8 of 11 en route to 22 points.

Northwestern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for South Miami, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-14.

Northwestern will square off against St. Brendan on Friday. Northwestern will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. South Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
