Volleyball Recap: Cromwell Panthers vs. Lyman Memorial Bulldogs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cromwell had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2018.
Victoria Narwot paced Cromwell's offense, picking up 11 kills. Narwot got some help from Isabella Davis and her 22 assists. Ania Mockalis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Cromwell is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Lyman Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Cromwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against North Branford on the 5th. Lyman Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
