Recap: Windham RVT Mighty Tigers vs. Vinal RVT Hawks
Even though the Vinal RVT Hawks scored an imposing 83 points on Wednesday, the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers still came out on top. Windham RVT walked away with a 90-83 win over Vinal RVT. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Windham RVT also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Desmen Gaston was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Fischer Jones, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Windham RVT is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Vinal RVT, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Windham RVT's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bullard-Havens at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Bullard-Havens is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Vinal RVT, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Lewis Mills at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Lewis Mills presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vinal RVT in Connecticut (Lewis Mills is ranked 29th, while Vinal RVT is ranked 175th).
