Softball Recap: Garden City Takes a Loss

Garden City has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.86 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alpena Wildcats.

Garden City's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Alpena, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Garden City didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-5 defeat against Plymouth on the 3rd. Alpena has also already played their next game (against Negaunee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
