Basketball Recap: Chelsea Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chelsea can now relate to. They fell 62-50 to the Paul W. Bryant Stampede on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Stampede are ranked 33rd).

Chelsea's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Paul W. Bryant, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 22 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

Chelsea does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paul W. Bryant, they will face off against Northridge at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Northridge will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Paul W. Bryant surely won't give up without a fight.
