Softball Recap: Gallatin Comes Up Short

Gallatin fell victim to Station Camp and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bison. The loss continues a trend for the Green Wave in their meetings with the Bison: they've now lost nine in a row.

Riley Tate spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Gallatin's record now sits at 3-8. As for Station Camp, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gallatin will square off against Trousdale County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Station Camp, they will challenge East Robertson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games East Robertson has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
