Swett has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mt. Diablo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Swett will welcome Mt. Diablo at 4:00 p.m. Swett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.1 runs per game this season.
Swett will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Emery on Wednesday. Swett blew past Emery 16-3. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Rebekah Millan made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Selene Schlepp, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Maddie Jones, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Swett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Mt. Diablo was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against Albany, falling 24-1.
Mt. Diablo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leif Scallin, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Scallin's first of the season.
Swett has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. Mt. Diablo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Mt. Diablo's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Swett hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .375. It's a different story for Mt. Diablo, though, as they've only averaged .194. Will they be able to contain Swett's hitters?
Swett took their victory against Mt. Diablo in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 18-3. Will Swett repeat their success, or does Mt. Diablo has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
