Preview: Ilwaco Fishermen vs. Forks Spartans
Ilwaco has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Forks Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ilwaco has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 430 points over their last six contests.
Ilwaco has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Raymond at home to the tune of 69-40.
Meanwhile, even though Neah Bay scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, Forks still came out on top. Forks took their match against Neah Bay 63-56.
Ilwaco's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. As for Forks, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Ilwaco strolled past Forks in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 58-41. Does Ilwaco have another victory up their sleeve, or will Forks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
