Enfield had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers, posting a 48-6 victory on the road.
Marlon Andino had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Hewitt, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Enfield will host Masuk at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bridgeport Central, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Ludlowe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bridgeport Central will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
