Basketball Recap: Wray Finds Home Court Redemption Against Frontier Academy

There's no place like home for Wray, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Frontier Academy Wolverines with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 61-47.

Bryson Lewis was nothing short of spectacular: he went 9-for-17 on his way to 26 points along with five boards and five steals. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high. Alex Trejo was another key player, putting up 15 points and six steals.

Wray smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.

Wray's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 6-12. As for Frontier Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Coincidentally, Wray and Frontier Academy will both be playing Wiggins the next time they take the court. Frontier Academy will host Wiggins at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wray will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
