Bayshore Christian came out on top against Washington County on Thursday thanks in part to Nate Crooms's efforts. Crooms turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Crooms' strong effort led Bayshore Christian over Washington County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
