Recap: Trinity Titans vs. Kouts Mustangs & Fillies

On Thursday, Trinity was beaten by Kouts 52-23. Trinity has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity lost, one person who can't be blamed is Josh Heintzelman. Despite the final result, he scored seven points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him.

Trinity has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Kouts, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will take on Argos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Argos is ranked 396th, while Trinity is ranked 395th). As for Kouts, they will be playing at home against Hammond Academy of Science & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hopefully Hammond Academy of Science & Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Wednesday.
