Volleyball Recap: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Takes a Loss

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City lost against Cumberland back in September of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 25-18.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-17. As for Cumberland, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and Patoka will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cumberland, they are taking a road trip to face off against Casey-Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
