Everything went their way against the Muskegon Big Reds on Thursday as they made off with an 18-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Sailors in their matchups with the Big Reds: they've now won five in a row.
Jada Mosher was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hailey Youmans, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Mona Shores always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Muskegon only posted an OBP of .423.
