Baseball Recap: Fishburne Military Comes Up Short

Fishburne Military was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-6 back in March.

Fishburne Military saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Simon Frankson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Frankson's first of the season.

Fishburne Military's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Fishburne Military will take on Eastern Mennonite at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, they will face off against Massanutten Military Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
