Basketball Recap: Port Clinton Comes Up Short

Port Clinton was the 63-39 winner over Edison when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Port Clinton Redskins fell to the Edison Chargers 50-45. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Redskins came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Chargers are ranked 413th).

Port Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Edison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Clinton will square off against Rossford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Edison, they will face off against Crestview at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
