Volleyball Recap: Dugger Union Bulldogs vs. Martinsville Bluestreaks
Dugger Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Martinsville Bluestreaks. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluestreaks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15.
Dugger Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Martinsville, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.
Dugger Union is on the road again on Saturday to play Red Hill at 1:00 p.m. As for Martinsville, they will challenge Oblong at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oblong will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Martinsville surely won't give up without a fight.
