 The Champion Golden Flashes will take on the Norwayne Bobcats at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Champion comes in on four and Norwayne on five.
 If Champion beats Norwayne with four  runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  matches with that exact score. Champion narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Brecksville-Broadview Heights  4-3.
  Gabrielle Gradishar was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out 16 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   two  hits. Gradishar has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 14 consecutive pitching appearances. Gradishar was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Gradishar wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Addison Warzala, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  with a playoff game on the line, Norwayne rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They beat the Titans by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  6-4.
 Champion is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record  this season. As for Norwayne, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home.
