Basketball Recap: Riverstone International Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

After losing to Liberty Charter the last time they met, Riverstone International decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Riverstone International Otters came out on top in a nail-biter against the Liberty Charter Patriots on Friday, sneaking past 41-38. The 41-point effort marked the Otters' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Riverstone International was led to victory by Amer Sangha and Finn Simon. Sangha went 6 of 9 en route to 17 points and five boards, while Simon posted eight points and eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds gave Simon a new career-high. Conrad Ness also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Riverstone International's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Liberty Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Riverstone International will face off against Wilder at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Riverstone International is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. As for Liberty Charter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-50 defeat against Valley on the 1st.
