Soccer Game Preview: La Mirada vs. Savanna

The La Mirada Matadores are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge the Savanna Rebels at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. La Mirada's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

La Mirada is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Troy on Monday. La Mirada and Troy finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Savanna sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Cypress on Monday. That's two games straight that the Rebels have won by just one goal.

With that draw, La Mirada's record moves to 1-2-1. As for Savanna, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

La Mirada beat Savanna by a goal when the teams last played back in December of 2019, winning 1-0. Will La Mirada repeat their success, or does Savanna have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
