Basketball Recap: Front Range Christian Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Union Colony Prep, Front Range Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles by a score of 48-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Despite the loss, Pikes Peak Christian still got an impressive performance from Bella Fletcher, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. What's more, Fletcher also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Sophie Petersen, who posted a point in addition to ten assists and five rebounds.

Front Range Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Front Range Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-16 win against Clear Creek on the 11th. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 46-28 victory against Dolores Huerta Prep on the 11th.
