Wesleyan had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They never let the Mount Vernon Mustangs get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering Wesleyan have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wesleyan's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those six contests. As for Mount Vernon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
