Soccer Recap: St. Andrew's Episcopal Falls Short of Tupelo Christian Prep in the Playoffs

St. Andrew's Episcopal and Tupelo Christian Prep squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but St. Andrew's Episcopal had to settle for second. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles who were credited with the win. The Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints' three. The Saints were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Lily Krepps and Celia Lane scored both of St. Andrew's Episcopal's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

St. Andrew's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Tupelo Christian Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
