Basketball Recap: Manteca Has No Trouble Against Chavez

Manteca picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 56-32 margin over the Chavez Titans. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Titans are ranked 882nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Manteca back to even at 5-5. As for Chavez, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Manteca will head out to take on Tracy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chavez, they will be home for the holidays to greet Grant at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Grant's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
