Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Southern Choctaw walked away with it. They took down the Marengo Panthers 55-38 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Southern Choctaw's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Marengo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Coming up, Southern Choctaw will take on Brantley on Wednesday. Marengo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
