It may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but Copper Basin ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Saturday. They managed  a  52-46 victory over the Sale Creek Panthers. The  win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won nine  matchups in a row.
 Among those leading the charge was   Kendra Deal, who  posted 14 points and three  steals. She is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed three or more in each of the last six games she's  played.  Alexis Hyatt was another key player,  going 5-for-10  on her way to 12  points.
 When it comes to explaining why Sale Creek lost, don't look at  Trinity Smith. Despite the final result, she  scored eight points along with nine  rebounds and four  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Caroline Holland, who  had 13  points.
Copper Basin pushed their record up to 15-8 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Sale Creek, their record now sits at 17-11.
 Copper Basin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sale Creek,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Panthers  face off against  the Tigers at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sale Creek is facing Whitwell at the right time seeing as Whitwell is stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
