Football Recap: The Dalles Puts Losing Streak Behind Them + How To Watch

After losing to Ontario the last time they met, The Dalles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Riverhawks took down the Tigers 31-14 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Riverhawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Among those leading the charge was Reese Kenslow, who rushed for 61 yards and one TD.

Despite the defeat, Ontario saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kobe Monroe rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

The victory got The Dalles back to even at 3-3. As for Ontario, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, The Dalles will square off against Pendleton/Nixyaawii Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buckaroos will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Ontario, they will face off against Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.17 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
