Basketball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 69-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grove City Greyhounds. That's two games in a row now that the Cowboys have lost by exactly six points.

Grove City was led to victory by Demitri Adado and Jacob Saxton. Adado posted 29 points, while Saxton had 22 points. Those 29 points gave Adado a new career-high. Parker Toadvine was another key player, putting up six points.

West's record now sits at 0-3. As for Grove City, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

West won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grove City, they will be playing at home against Westerville Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
