Holy Names Academy lost to Garfield back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Holy Names Academy was the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Garfield. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Holy Names Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Garfield is ranked 173rd).

The victory made it two in a row for Holy Names Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two contests. As for Garfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
