Football Recap: Grace Community Falls Short of the Woodlands Christian Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grace Community can now relate to. They were outmatched by The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors and fell 51-6. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 824th, while the Warriors are ranked 121st).

Santiago Fernandez Villarreal was his usual excellent self, throwing for 149 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 44 yards for The Woodlands Christian Academy.

Grace Community dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Grace Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, they will challenge Second Baptist on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
