Volleyball Recap: South Pasadena Victorious

South Pasadena picked up another tournament win on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Chaminade Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

South Pasadena can attribute much of their success to Wyatt Morimoto-Woo, who had 12 digs and three assists. Those three assists gave Morimoto-Woo a new career-high. Kyle Kirchen also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

The win got South Pasadena back to even at 14-14. As for Chaminade, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

South Pasadena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Upland on the 19th. As for Chaminade, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Thousand Oaks on the 19th.
