Softball Recap: North White Comes Up Short

North White lost against North Judson-San Pierre back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Bluejays, falling 9-2. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Melanie Crawford was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

North White's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for North Judson-San Pierre, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North White will host Kouts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs & Fillies have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Morgan Township at 4:30 p.m.
