Basketball Game Preview: Kalkaska Blazers vs. Lake City Trojans

The Kalkaska Blazers will square off against the Lake City Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kalkaska hasn't scored more than 24 points for six games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Kalkaska came up short against Cheboygan on Friday, falling 39-17.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake City). They walked away with a 52-43 win over Coleman on Monday.

Kalkaska's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Lake City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-19.

Kalkaska took a serious blow against Lake City in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 63-15. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kalkaska was down 38-6.
