It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pickens had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Wren Hurricanes 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Flame sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Pickens had a senior duo take command as Natalie Hunter had 12 digs and three aces and Krysta Bennefield had four digs and three aces. Hunter has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.
Pickens' victory bumped their record up to 30-4. As for Wren, their loss ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 29-7-1.
Pickens didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Bishop England on the 8th. Wren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
