Recap: Clover Blue Eagles vs. Blacksburg Wildcats
The Clover Blue Eagles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Blacksburg, posting a 62-32 victory at home. Considering Clover has won three matches by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clover to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karis Alexander, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Alexander has scored at least 25% of Clover's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcia Watt, who scored 15 points.
Clover's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Blacksburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Clover will head out on the road to face off against York at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Blacksburg is on the road again on Saturday and play against North Augusta at 1:25 p.m. on December 2nd.
