Baseball Recap: Grafton Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Grafton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Port Washington Pirates a 4-0 shutout on Monday. The Black Hawks haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Zachary Plier was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Grafton's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Port Washington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
