While Homestead's victory against Manchester wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Squires 4-3. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Squires recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Macy Arnold looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Braeli Borchers, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Manchester, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homestead will venture away from home to take on Angola at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manchester, they will head out to face off against Southwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
