Moffat County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Grand Valley Cardinals. This was a revenge game for Moffat County: when they faced off against Grand Valley back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Moffat County's offense was hitting Grand Valley from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Xavier (El Tigre) Ayala led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Moffat County now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Grand Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4-3.

Moffat County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Valley, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory against Ridgway on the 18th.
