Volleyball Game Preview: Campolindo Cougars vs. Northgate Broncos

The Campolindo Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Northgate Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northgate took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Campolindo, who comes in off a win.

Northgate will be up against a hot Campolindo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Campolindo walked away with a 3-1 victory over Clayton Valley Charter on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 21-25, 25-15, 25-13.

Meanwhile, after a string of 20 wins, Northgate's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Clovis East by a score of 2-1.

Campolindo will have to contain Zeon Hubp as he made an impact in Northgate's last game. He had six aces, five digs, and one block. What's more, Hubp also posted an 80% hitting percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in April of 2024.

Campolindo's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-6. As for Northgate, their loss dropped their record down to 25-2.

Campolindo might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Northgate when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Campolindo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
