Softball Recap: East Central Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

East Central blew Clemens out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Clemens got their revenge. The Hornets fell just short of the Buffaloes by a score of 10-8. That's two games in a row now that the Hornets have lost by exactly two runs.

Izzy Estrada was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Marissa Delgado, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

East Central's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10. As for Clemens, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

East Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clemens, they will welcome Judson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
