Everything went their way against the East St. Louis Flyers as the Belleville East Lancers made off with  a  15-2 victory. The  win was familiar territory for Belleville East who now have three in a row.
  Grady Davis looked comfortable as he  pitched 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Tommy Kramkowski was a standout: he scored two  runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Ty Reaka, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Belleville East has  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record  this season. As for East St. Louis, they dropped their record down to 2-3-1 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Belleville East beat East St. Louis by a score of  19-2 later that day.
